Vitamin B6 supplement has been used to treat children and infants that experience certain types of seizures. The effects if vitamin B6 on epilepsy is not known.

Taking 5 mg of folic acid a day has been reported to reduce the frequency of seizures. In some people taking folic acid may interfere with anticonvulsant medications and cause an increase in seizures.
