Develop a personal vitamin plan by speaking to a naturopath, nutritionist, or allopathic physician about your health concerns and patterns, family history, and personal predispositions to particular medical conditions. Do your own research as well to come up with an assortment of vitamins and supplements that will help you to maintain your health and energy levels.

Inform your pharmacist of the vitamins and supplements you will be taking, and ask whether there is any danger of harmful interactions between the vitamins and any prescription medications you take.

Prepare a week's ( or longer) worth of assorted supplements, divided by day or, if you take vitamins several times a day, prepare an assortment for each occasion when you take them. Place each day's vitamins and supplements in a small plastic bag. If you take different supplements at different times of day, clearly mark each bag so you will know when to use it.
