B vitamins are found in a variety of foods from plant and animal sources. For B vitamins found in vegetables, the deeper the vegetable's color, the richer it is in vitamins. It's important to get enough B vitamins, as they help every organ system in the body work properly. Not getting enough of any one of the B vitamins can result in long or short-term illness.
