Vitamin B
-
1
Go to a bakery and buy fresh, compressed yeast. You will use this yeast to make Vitamin B. Explain that you are intending to eat the yeast, and must have the freshest available.
-
2
Cook the yeast before consuming it. Yeast that's uncooked can cause indigestion and be difficult to digest. Cook a pound of yeast by adding it, ¼ cup at a time, to a cup of boiling water. After all of the yeast has melted, and it begins to boil again, pour it into a glass container. The container can be air-tight, or you can cover it with tin foil.
-
3
Serve yourself and your family a few spoonfuls each day. If you pour the yeast from the container instead of drinking directly from the container or dipping a spoon into it, you should be able to keep the yeast formula for more than a month in your refrigerator. You can even flavor the yeast formula by adding vanilla, honey or whatever you desire. Yeast is another excellent source of Vitamin B.
Vitamin D
-
4
Expose yourself to the sun at least 3 times a week without sunscreen. Your body will generate Vitamin D by itself.
-
5
Stay outside for at least 5 to 10 minutes. People with darker skin would have to expose their skin longer, while those with lighter skin should stay out for shorter periods of time.
-
6
Eat foods high in Vitamin D during the winter months. Cod liver oil contains the highest amounts of Vitamin D.
Vitamin C
-
7
Cut the peels of citrus fruits into thin strips.
-
8
Lay the peels on cheese cloth. Make sure the peels don't touch each other.
-
9
Wait a few days and you have a fresh source of Vitamin C.
-
10
Place the peels in a coffee grinder to create a powder. Store in an air-tight container. Take one teaspoon a day for a good source of Vitamin C.
