Sources of Bulk Vitamins

Buying vitamin products in raw bulk -- the uncapped, powdered form -- is not only economical, but provides the purest form of vitamins available. Because the taste of raw vitamin powders can be bitter, most bulk vitamin sources also sell empty gel caps for easier and more palatable ingesting. Pre-encapsulated vitamins are also available in bulk quantities from some wholesale sources.
  1. Dr. Clark Store

    • Dr. Clark Store is a manufacturer and retailer for products developed by Dr. Hulda Clark, a master herbalist who holds a doctorate in biology public protocols. Dr. Clark Store provides everything from kitchen products to system cleanses and more, including bulk herbs and vitamins. The raw vitamin selection is not as well-stocked as other sources, though a wide array of natural health herbal and plant-based substances are available. Dr. Clark Store also offers a rewards program, a print catalog and a free newsletter.

    Supplement Central

    • Supplement Central was established in 2001 and offers a wide variety of bulk vitamins, including an assortment of protein, carbohydrates, grain bulk products and more. Many of the bulk vitamins sold by Supplement Central come in capsule form, so they may be less pure than the bulk powder form. Supplement Central also offers empty gel caps in a variety of sizes, as well as vegetarian caps. The Supplement Central website features a blog and forums where customers and health experts can give and receive input and advice on supplementing and fitness. Telephone representatives are available to customers with questions regarding products, nutritional information and dosage.

    Nutrimart

    • Though Nutrimart does sell retail health products to the public, the selection of bulk raw vitamins is sold wholesale and only for the manufacturing process. Its large variety of bulk powders is primarily available only in 25-kilogram bags. The Nutrimart website includes a helpful page outlining the health benefits of vitamins and minerals, as taken from Dr. Earl Mindell's publication, "Live Longer & Feel Better With Vitamins and Minerals." The site also offers information on ailments, amino acids, homeopathy and nutrition.

    NHS Labs

    • NHS Labs offers vitamins in raw bulk form to vitamin, nutraceutical, food and veterinary industries, as well as in encapsulated bulk quantities. The minimum order for bulk quantities is 50,000, available in softgels, tablets or capsules. NHS Labs carries dozens of vitamins and other supplements available in bulk quantities, and additional vitamins on a monthly basis. Bulk raw materials are available only in 25-kilogram bags. NHS Labs is registered with and has been certified by NSF International, a non-profit organization which independently tests nutritional supplements to protect consumers from tainted products.
