Ascorbic acid salacylic or amino for plantar wart?

Salicylic acid is the most commonly used topical treatment for plantar warts. It works by keratolytically debriding the hard skin of the wart, making it easier for the body's immune system to fight off the virus. Ascorbic acid (vitamin C) and amino acids have not been shown to be effective in treating plantar warts.
