Can you get vitiligo from tomatoes?

There is no scientific evidence to suggest that eating tomatoes can cause vitiligo. Vitiligo is an autoimmune condition that causes loss of skin pigment. The exact cause of vitiligo is unknown, but it is thought to be related to genetics, an autoimmune response, or environmental factors such as stress or exposure to certain chemicals or toxins. Tomatoes are not known to contain any substances that have been linked to the development of vitiligo.
