How to Dissolve Niacin

Vitamins are either water-soluble or fat-soluble. Fat-soluble vitamins are broken down and stored in fat until they are used by the body. Water-soluble vitamins dissolve in water, move through the body and pass through the kidneys. Niacin is a water-soluble vitamin that can also be used topically by dissolving it and using it in an ointment.
