Dress in loose, comfortable workout clothing. Wear shoes that offer good support, such as running shoes or cross-trainers. If you are a female, choose a good support bra since you will be doing intense exercise.

Choose a Beachbody workout that features Tony Horton. He leads a variety of exercise videos designed for both new and experienced exercisers, so peruse your options before selecting a program. P90X videos are best if you already have some endurance and body strength, while Power90 is a better option if you are new to working out.

Follow along with the DVD at home. Mimic Tony Horton's actions as accurately as possible. Pause and rewind the DVD if Tony performs a move you are uncomfortable with or aren't sure how to correctly execute. If possible, watch yourself in a mirror so you can make sure you're doing each move correctly.
