Time yourself while doing an activity or any type of exercise. Set a timer or simply write down the time when you started.

Estimate the number of calories you use daily by using a calorie calculator. Enter your weight into the "Weight" field.

Locate the activity that you were doing and enter the amount of minutes that that it took to do it into the "Minutes" box.

Click on the "Calculate" button. The estimated amount of calories you used will automatically populate. You can use this as a guide when trying to lose weight or gain weight.
