How to Calculate BMI in Kilograms & Meters

Body mass index uses your height and weight to estimate whether you are underweight, overweight or about right. Medical professionals use it as a screening tool because of the minimal time and resources it takes. Healthy BMIs typically run from 18.5 to 24.9. However, since the formula cannot account for extremely muscular people, well-built individuals might not be obese even if their BMIs are higher than 25. To figure your BMI, you need to find your height and weight.
