How to Use a Body Fat Monitor Scale
A body fat monitor scale measures the amount of fat tissue you have by using a small amount of electrical current through your body. This is not harmful to you in any way, but the device should not be used by anyone who has a cardiac monitor or pacemaker on them. The scale then uses this information, in addition to your weight, age and sex, to calculate your body fat percentage and your body mass index. The monitor can be affected by eating, drinking, taking showers or exercising. It is recommended that you use the scale right after you wake up and use the bathroom.Instructions

1
Set up your profile on the body fat monitor scale. You will need to input your sex, age and weight. Keep this profile up-to-date to ensure you are getting the correct results every time.
-
2
Turn the scale on and make sure that it is set to your profile. Use it at the same time every day.

3
Step onto the scale with your bare feet. Balance yourself on the scale to ensure accurate results. Do not eat right before using the scale as this can cause the results to be off due to the additional food mass in your body.

Step off the scale once your body weight is displayed. The scale will then calculate your body fat and body mass index and display the information on the screen.
