Cybex Climber Instructions

Climbing machines help the user to develop and tone leg muscles and burn calories while exercising. You will burn calories by moving up and down a flight of "stairs" that is actually fixed in one place but includes a moving apparatus that mimics a staircase. There are hand rails to protect you from falling a large base for stabilization. The Cybex climber, also known as a stepper machine, allows you to adjust the resistance so that you can vary the intensity of your exercise workout routine.

Instructions

    • 1

Locate the electrical cord at the bottom of the Cybex climber and place the plug into the nearest electrical wall outlet.

    • 2

Grasp the handles of the Cybex machine and step onto the exercise equipment. Continue to use the handles to steady yourself as you get comfortable standing on the machine.

    • 3

Locate the "Quick Start" button on the display area of the Cybex Climber and press it. This turns the Cybex machine on, and the "stairs" will start to move.

    • 4

Press the "+" and the "-" buttons on the display to speed up or slow down the speed on the Cybex climber.

    • 5

End your workout by pressing the "Pause/end" button on the Cybex climber. Watch the display unit as it shows you the information about your workout, including the amount of time you worked out and the approximate number of calories you burned.
