The M.I.C. Diet

M.I.C. is an injection of methionine, inositol and choline. They are substances of lipotropic agents and affect the way the body uses fat. This is usually a weekly injection administered by a doctor and paired with calorie restriction and exercise to aid in weight loss.

    • Methionine is a lipotropic amino acid used to help reduce fat and lower cholesterol. Inositol and choline are co-enzymes needed to help metabolize fats.

    Intake

    • The M.I.C. injections are taken at least once a month, sometimes once a week, and require an appointment with a doctor. The M.I.C. also can be found in pill form.

    Safety

    • With a safe amount of calorie restriction and exercise, the M.I.C. shots are considered to be a safe counterpart to a doctor-supervised weight loss plan.
