Daily Stomach Exercises
It is difficult to fight the battle of the bulge, especially as a person grows older. Stomach fat is the most dangerous for a person because of the danger it inflicts on the liver and pancreas. The best method for losing stomach fat is through proper eating and exercise. There are a number of daily stomach exercises a person can perform to help lose stomach fat.-
Reverse Crunch
-
Lie on the floor, flat on your back. Make sure to press your lower back against the ground. Place both arms straight down against your side, palms flat against the floor. Cross your feet and lift them off the ground with your legs positioned at a 90-degree angle. Push your lower back further to the floor, contracting your abdominal muscles while pushing your legs towards the ceiling. Release the pressure and return to the starting position. For breathing, make sure to breathe out when contracting and breathe in when returning to the start position.
Bicycle Crunch
-
Lie on the floor, flat on your back. Place your hands on your head. Raise your knees up to a 45-degree angle and slowly begin to move your legs in the motion you would if riding a bicycle. Each time you raise a knee toward your head, rotate your upper body so the opposite elbow touches the knee as they meet. For breathing, make sure to continue even breathing techniques through this exercise.
Exercise Ball Crunch
-
To complete this exercise, you need a large exercise ball. Sit on the ball with your feet on the floor. Slowly roll the ball back until your lower back rests on it. Lie back until your upper body is parallel with the floor. Spread your feet apart to keep a good balance and place your arms across your chest. Slightly raise your torso to contract your abdominal muscles. For breathing, make sure to breathe out when contracting and breathe in when returning to the start position.
Vertical Leg Crunch
-
Lie on the floor, flat on your back. Put your hands beside your head. Raise your legs into the air, ankles crossed, with your knees bent slightly. Slightly lift your torso forward towards the knees to contract the abdominal muscles. For breathing, make sure to breathe out when contracting and breathe in when returning to the start position.
