How to Build Muscle by Flexing

When training your body's muscles, you typically use weights to put strain on the muscle fibers. This stretches and breaks the fibers apart. Protein is than flushed to the muscles to help rebuild, strengthening the muscles and increasing the overall size. Weight training is especially important in terms of strengthening muscles, but it is possible to help boost the overall size by flexing your muscles too.

Consume protein (such as a protein shake) after you have finished your workout. You need protein in order to build muscles. Generally, you need one gram of protein per pound in your body in order to maintain and build new muscle. This means that if you weigh 160 pounds, you must consume at least 160 grams of protein a day.
