  Step off of the scale; it will shut off automatically. When you step back on the scale it resets to zero.

  Check beneath the HoMedics scale to ensure that your scale is on a flat surface before weighing again to receive an exact weight.

  Step back on the scale and remain completely still while the scale calculates your weight. Your weight will appear on the scale's LCD display screen.
