Eating pre-packaged frozen diet meals is a great way to lose weight for the person on the run. If you don't have time to cook and do calorie calculations, try hitting the frozen food aisle at the grocery store for an almost endless choice of entrees. The biggest advantage to consuming a diet frozen meal is that you eat a controlled portion size. Another advantage is that your meal is already prepared and takes a short amount of time to heat in the microwave.

Choose a wide variety, from mixed vegetables to your favorite one. Select frozen vegetables packages that contain no sauce for the best diet results. A container of frozen vegetables with no sauce has the same number of calories, fat, carbs and sodium as fresh.
A great way to prepare frozen vegetables is in the microwave topped with a half teaspoon of olive oil and a quarter teaspoon of sea salt. Eat a bowl of prepared frozen vegetables as a snack or along with another pre-packaged frozen diet meal.

You can still have a delicious snack without the fat and calories. Choose sugar-free fudge pops or popsicles. Most sugarless frozen fudge pops have 40 calories per serving or 20 calories for popsicles.
Other frozen snacks include frozen vegetable eggrolls that contain only 70 calories or organic frozen snacks you can purchase at local specialty grocers.
