Measure your height and your weight. You'll need the standard measurements of height in inches and weight in pounds.

Square your height in inches. For example, if your height is 67 inches, then multiply 67 x 67. The result is 4489.

Divide your weight (pounds) by your height squared (see Step 2). If your weight is 225 pounds, and your height squared is 4489, the result is: 0.0501225217197594118957451548229.

Multiply the answer to step three by 703. The answer in this case is 35.2 and that is your body fat index.
