How to Look Thinner in Photos
Many people worry about their overall appearance and any extra weight they may have. This fear is often magnified when photos are taken. Whether you're at your perfect weight or overweight, an unflattering picture can make even the most attractive person cringe. It's often said that the camera adds 10 pounds, but fortunately, this doesn't always have to be the case. By learning how to pose correctly, you can create the appearance of thinner body without having to do any extra weight loss work.Instructions

Take pictures outside with the flash on if possible. Taking photos in brightly lit locations diminishes the appearance of shadows that can create the illusion of extra weight. By only shooting photos in proper lighting, you will create an overall slimmer look.

Stand facing the camera with one leg crossed in front of the other. Turn your body so it's facing about 45 degrees away from the camera, then position your head and shoulder facing toward the camera. This may seem like an awkward pose, but it is also one of the most thinning, flattering positions for photo taking. Place one hand on your hip to create the appearance of thinner shoulders.

Take the photo from above. Ask a taller friend to snap the picture or have the photographer stand on a chair. Because you will be looking up at the camera, any extra weight you have in your face will fade into the shadows.
