Lull Forklift Model 400 Specifications

The Lull model 400 forklift is a telescopic boom lift manufactured by JLG Industries. The model comes in a 400S series and a 400SJ series. The forklift offers high reach ability and simple-to-keep-up-with maintenance. The Lull forklift model 400 is equipment with many standard features as well as accessories and optional features available.

  1. Standard Features

    • The Lull model 400 has several standard features, including an articulating jib; a side platform that measures 36 inches by 96 inches with a console that shows the light status of the machine; proportional controls; and a self-closing inward opening gate. Also standard are a hydraulic platform rotator that turns to 180 degrees; 12-by-16.5 tires with rim protectors and lug tread; an engine tray; hour meter; lifting tie down lugs; a horn; an operator tool tray; glow plugs and a motion detector with alarm. It runs on 110 Volt-AC power and also has 12 Volt-DC backup power.

    Optional Features

    • Optional features include a 36-inch-by-72-inch platform; 14-by-7.5 tires with lug tread; tires that are foam-filled; sand or turf tires with high flotation for 4WD only; a 2,500-watt generator; a tow package for 2WD only; a flashing beacon; a catalytic muffler; and a 43.5-pound propane-filled tank. A kit for the cold weather, a hostile environment kit and an arctic pack are offered as options. Optional lighting includes a flashing amber beacon, a light package and platform work lights. Special hydraulic oils and a platform air line system can be added, and 750-pound unrestricted capacity with a 1,000-pound restricted capacity is available.

    Accessories

    • Several accessories packages can be added to the forklift. Per JLG's website, the packages are SkyPower Package, SkyWelder Package, SkyCutter Package, SkyGlazier Package, the NightBrite Package, and the SkyAir Package. There are combinations of these packages also available depending on your exact model of forklift.
