How to Calculate RDEE
The Resting Daily Energy Expenditure, otherwise known as RDEE, is the amount of energy your body requires at rest, measured in calories. If you need to calculate your own RDEE, you can do so easily by collecting basic information about yourself, such as height, weight and age, and plugging it into a formula.Things You'll Need

- Height (in cm)
- Age

Men's Formula

Multiply your body mass (in kg) by 13.7. Add the product of this number to 66. This number will be referred to as "x."

Multiply your height (in cm) by 5. Add this number to "x."

Multiply your age by 6.8. Subtract this new number by the number the above number. This number is your RDEE.
Women's Formula

Multiply your body mass (in kg) by 9.6. Add the product of this number to 65.5. This number will be referred to as "x."

Multiply your height (in cm) by 1.85. Add this number to "x."
