Fat lost on face during puberty?
It is normal for body fat to be redistributed during puberty, including changes to the face. This is due to the rise of hormones such as testosterone and oestrogen which affect fat distribution and muscle mass. However, it is not certain that everyone will necessarily lose face fat during puberty. Some people may experience an increase in face fat while others may have relatively stable facial features throughout their teenage years.
