How to Exercise on an HCG Diet
Dr. A.T.W. Simeon's Human Chorionic Gonadotrophin (HCG) diet promotes a 500 calorie per day intake along with daily hormone supplements. Very-low-calorie diets (VLCDs) require the adherent to be cognizant of potential dangers associated with exercise while on a restricted diet.Instructions

1
Consult your physician before starting the HCG diet. Ask for her recommendations for exercising on a very-low-calorie diet.
-
2
Walk up to 1 hour a day, keeping a slow and rhythmic pace; do not overexert yourself. Indulge your body by doing yoga to stimulate and promote internal health. Resistance training is also allowed if your body can handle it.
-
3
Monitor your body's signals during exercise sessions. Stop your workout if you notice signs of dizziness or extreme fatigue. Drink water and reevaluate your workout regime.
-
4
Adjust your workout regime when you feel like your body can exercise at a higher level, or when you feel that you pushed your body too far during the last workout session. Continue to workout, but modify your exercise sessions to fit your body's physical limits.
