How to Burn Off Body Fat Hour by Hour
Our bodies naturally have a fat storage mode that occurs when the brain thinks that our body is fasting and needs to retain as many nutrients and fat as possible. This means that your body's metabolism is in low mode and you are not burning calories or fat like you could be. In order to get your body out of fat-retaining mode and into fat-burning mode, it is necessary to ramp up your metabolism and keep it going throughout the day so you can burn off body fat hour by hour.Instructions

Start your day with a glass of cold water and a light breakfast. The old adage that breakfast is the most important meal of the day is absolutely true. According to personal trainer Matt Omidi, your body is in fasting mode all night long, and if you don't break that mode, your metabolism will stay in slow mode. A glass of cold water gets your system moving and a light breakfast will give you energy to jump-start your body.

Eat several light meals throughout the day. Reducing the amount of time between meals and reducing how much you're eating at those meals will help your body stay in fat-blasting mode. The frequent small meals signal your brain that you are not starving, so it will keep burning calories, not try to conserve them.

Try to exercise lightly several times a day. In order to keep your metabolism going, try short bursts of activity throughout your day. It doesn't have to be a heavy workout. For example, you could jog up a flight of stairs instead of taking the elevator. Park your car at the far end of the parking lot so you have to take a short walk to get to the building's entry. If you have a desk job, take five minutes every hour to stand up, stretch and walk around.

Add more lean muscle mass. Muscle burns more calories than fat and naturally increases your body's metabolism. Consider adding a light strength-training regime to your workouts, using dumbbells or stretch bands, to help develop lean muscle mass and discourage fat retention.

5
Avoid carbohydrate-heavy meals. They are loaded with starches and sugars, and when the body digests these carbs it slows down the metabolism. Add lean protein and several servings of fresh fruits and vegetables to your daily diet.
