Begin with interval training. This method alternates between fast, slow and high and low intensities of exercise movements. A low intensity move is a soft bounce and a high intensity move is a faster bounce. Mix the ratios of exercise working out three to four minutes on a slow speed and one minute on a fast speed.

Start jogging. After warming up from bouncing, start jogging in place. Swinging your arms like a speedwalker will make the exercise more intense and will burn more calories. Switch out your techniques and ratios of these steps working out three to four minutes will slowing down or speeding up. Increasing your jogging pace burns more calories, too.

Do the twist. Spread your feet a foot apart while raising your arms to a 90 degree angle. Bend the knees and turn them right will the upper body turns left. Repeat this movement back and forth. Mix this technique with intervals of jogging or bouncing.

Do jumping jacks. This is a wider stance than the twist with the feet spread further apart. Clap your hands above your head and bring them back down to the side of the body simultaneously while jumping up and closing the feet together.
