Apple and Milk Diet
-
Day One: Apples
-
Do you want to try an apples and milk diet? Eat six or seven apples on the first day of the diet cycle. You can only eat apples on this day (no more than seven), and nothing else may be consumed, including water. The liquid you receive during the day comes singularly from the apples.
Day Two: Milk
-
Drink one liter of either skim or low-fat milk throughout the course of the second day (no apples). You are only to consume the milk, and nothing else. Unfortunately, water cannot be consumed on the second day either.
Day Three: Food
-
Normal food can finally be eaten on the third day of the diet. Drink plenty of water, and eat the foods you normally would. However, do not take the third day as a license to binge on sweets; instead, plan healthy, well-balanced, low-calorie meals.
Continuation
-
Repeat the entire cycle (steps 1-3) on the fourth, fifth and sixth day. Keep repeating the cycle until you have reached your set weight-loss goal.
Warnings
-
This diet is a starvation diet and can lead to severe loss of nutrients, lack of energy and possible serious health risks. Dehydration is a major side effect of the regime. Speak with your health care provider if you believe you may be at risk for any serious complications associated with starvation diets.
For those who are active and participate in sports or physical activity on a daily basis, this diet should not be attempted as dehydration is a greater possibility.
