How to Quench Hunger Pains When Losing Weight
Take away temporary hunger pains from smaller portions by performing a few simple steps each day. Some, if not most, of what is thought to be hunger pains are not actually hunger pains. Educate yourself about the actual size and location of your stomach and how much water plays into the overall process of hunger and weight loss and watch how your mind shifts about what hunger feels like when losing weight.Instructions

Find your ribs using your hands. Go to the bottom of the ribcage and follow the base to where it curves and meets. Form a fist and place it in the crevasse to find the location of your stomach. Take a look at your fist to understand the actual size of your stomach. A closed fist equates the size of a stomach. Understand that pains commonly associated with hunger, lower than this point, are not hunger pains. Monitor only your stomach, not the colon, for hunger pains.

Drink water. Much pain in the abdomen associated with hunger pains are actually the body craving for water. Prevent the pain by keeping water with you at all times. Plan to drink at least half your body weight in water every day in order to stay properly hydrated.

Plan out smaller meals. Instead of eating three large meals a day, plan on having five or six smaller meals. This increases metabolism and keeps your stomach working continually rather than being stuffed then down to almost nothing. Watch how your energy increases with smaller meals.
