Create a layout or guide you can follow each day. Make your layout brief and direct. Write down how much weight you intend to lose each week. Aim to lose around 3.2 pounds a week, considering your 90 pound goal over 28 weeks.

Plan every meal that you eat. Record the meals so you keep track of the amount of calories you're eating. Eat between 2,000 and 2,200 calories a day. Plan to eat five to six small meals throughout the day.

Supplant the unhealthy, fatty foods with high-protein and fiber-rich foods. Buy vegetables, lean meats, fruits and low-fat dairy products. Avoid foods that cause high cholesterol like pork, sweets and soda.

Exercise at least three times a week for 60 minutes. Perform aerobic exercises like running and walking twice a week. Make sure to work up a sweat. Perform anaerobic exercises like yoga and weightlifting.
