Zantrex Side Effects

Zantrex-3 is an over-the-counter diet pill marketed for weight loss and boosting energy. It is not FDA-approved for weight loss or any other condition. Check with your physician before taking this, because it may cause potentially serious side effects.

  1. Cardiovascular

    • Zantrex-3 may increase heart, blood pressure and cause heart palpitations. Do not take if you have hypertension or any history of cardiovascular problems.

    Psychological

    • Zantrex-3 may increase feelings of anxiety and can induce panic attacks. It may also cause an increase in mood swings. Discuss potential psychological side effects with your physician, especially if you suffer from a mood or anxiety disorder.

    Gastrointestinal

    • Zantrex-3 may cause nausea, upset stomach, diarrhea and loss of appetite. If you have a history of an eating disorder, use of Zantrex-3 is not advised.

    Urogenital

    • Zantrex-3 may increase frequency of urination, since it contains caffeine, which acts as a diuretic. If you have a history of kidney disease, discuss this with your physician before taking Zantrex-3.

    Other

    • Other side effects may include cold sweats, feelings of restlessness, shakiness and feelings of jitteriness.
