How to Destroy Fat Cells
There are many products and techniques on the market all promising to be the latest and greatest way to destroy fat for good. Fad diets usually consist of a strict crash course that will potentially let you drop weight fast in the beginning, but that weight loss rarely lasts. Other companies offer various devices that promise the destruction of fat cells through stimulation; again, these products rarely work and the results are minimal, if at all. The best way to rid the body of unwanted fat is to maintain a healthy lifestyle that includes regular exercise and proper eating habits.Things You'll Need

Do a cardiovascular workout. The most effective way of ridding fat cells from the body is to burn them off through exercise. Start off slow, performing 20 to 30 minutes of cardiovascular exercise 3 days a week, whether it be running, biking, or using the elliptical. Increase the intensity and frequency as you are able, trying for up to 5 times a week. Studies have shown that an increase of intensity during cardiovascular workouts, rather than simply increasing the length of time, will burn fat better and longer throughout the day.

Lift weights. Weightlifting in conjunction with cardiovascular exercise is the one-two punch to destroy the fat on your body. Again, start slow and don't train a particular muscular group more than once a week. A popular regime is a four-day split of chest/back on day 1, biceps/triceps on day 2, shoulders on day 3, and legs on day 4. Allow a day of rest between days 1 through 3. So, if you were to start on a Monday, your regime would go as follows: Monday - chest/back; Tuesday - rest; Wednesday - biceps/triceps; Thursday - rest; Friday - shoulders; Saturday - legs; Sunday - rest. Rest days are important because this is when your muscle fibers repair themselves and ultimately grow. If you are unfamiliar with the weight room, work with a personal trainer to develop a routine that suits your physical ability.

Eat healthy. Eating better is the only other way of ridding the body of fat. Eliminating junk foods from your diet and focusing on hearty, wholesome foods such as whole grains, lean meats, fruits, and vegetables is the best way to prevent fat from creeping back on to your body.
