Weight Loss With Chakras
In Sanskrit, the word "chakra" means "wheel." The chakras are a type of meditation, offering healing for various illnesses, possibly aiding in weight loss. In chakra meditation, all seven energy centers are energized or supercharged.-
What Is Chakra Meditation?
-
Begin by concentrating on the first chakra, the root chakra, located just above the tailbone. It is the foundation of our energy system. Each chakra is located above the other. The meditation should end with focusing on energizing the final (or seventh) chakra. Avoid concentrating on just one chakra as this will not provide very good results. The third chakra is known as the power chakra and is located in the solar plexus area. This is the chakra that manages the metabolism.
It is believed that if there is an imbalance with the root chakra, this will lead to weight gain. It can also lead to overeating, heaviness and a bigger body in general. Making sure that the first and third chakras are balanced is extremely important.
Remain Grounded
-
An important part of balancing the chakras is to learn how to stay grounded. Being grounded means you feel a connection to your body overall. The stone hematite works as an excellent ground and can be held in the palm of the hand in an almost meditative state for grounding. Keep your feet flat on the ground and if you feel like you are not grounded, try removing your shoes and rub the bottoms of your feet together vigorously. Imagine that you are sending energy to the bottoms of your feet. See yourself breathing in a positive green energy through your nose, blowing out a negative red energy through your mouth.
The Chakras
-
Again, the root chakra is located just above the tailbone. The second chakra, or the sacral chakra, is located approximately two inches below the naval. The third chakra is the solar plexus and is located above the diaphragm. The fourth chakra is the heart chakra and is located on the second vertebra. The fifth chakra is the throat chakra, located in the bend of the neck. The sixth chakra is known as the third eye chakra and is located between the eyebrows. Finally, the seventh chakra is known as the crown chakra and is located on the top of the head or the crown of the head.
You can perform a chakra clearing once or twice a day. Some metaphysical shops sell chakra clearing kits. These kits consist of seven stones and are usually kept in a pouch. The user should lie on their back in a quiet setting, carefully placing the corresponding stone on the correct chakra. Allow yourself to lay in a quiet, meditative state for 10 to 15 minutes.
A red or black crystal or stone, such as garnet or bloodstone, works well for clearing the root chakra. Orange or yellow crystals and stones, like citrine or calcite, work well for clearing the sacral chakra. The solar plexus chakra can be cleared by using any yellow-colored stone, such as topaz or citrine. Rose quartz is wonderful for clearing the heart chakra. The throat chakra can be cleared with a dark blue stone, such as sugalite or blue agate. The third eye chakra can be cleared with stones, such as sodalite, sapphire or lapis lazuli. Finally, the crown chakra can be cleared with a violet or clear-colored stone, such as clear quartz or amethyst.
