    What Is Sea Salt?

    • Sea salt is produced when seawater evaporates, while table salt is usually mined. Sea salt tastes different from table salt because it has a different trace mineral content. Sea salt from different areas has a different color. Himalayan sea salt is usually pink or peach, while other sea salts may be gray, white or even a reddish brown. Unlike table salt, sea salt does not have additional minerals added. Like table salt, sea salt is available in fine or coarse varieties.

    Sea Salt Cleanse

    • A salt salt cleanse can help remove impurities from your body and start you on your way to weight loss. For a salt water cleanse, mix 1 tbsp. of natural organic sea salt with a liter of room temperature water. Stir until the salt is completely dissolved. Drink the solution as quickly as you can.

      Go about your normal activities, but it is recommended that you do not leave home. You may begin to notice rumblings in your digestive system. About 30 to 60 minutes after drinking the solution, you will have an urge to have a bowel movement. Expect to have several bowel movements, some of which may be large and with great urgency. If you need to pass gas, do so while sitting on the toilet to avoid an accident.
