How to Reduce and Tone Abdominal Flab

      Practice your posture. Having proper posture can work miracles on the appearance of your abdomen. When standing make sure you are standing straight, shoulders back and that your tuck in your abdomen and buttocks.

      Easy and effective crunches that don't take any extra time - pull in your abdominal muscles and hold for several seconds, then release. This is something you can do while accomplishing other routine tasks like cooking dinner, putting on your makeup or even sitting at your desk.

      Who says you need a bike to get the same benefits. Here is another exercise that helps your abs. Lie on your back with your hands beneath your buttocks. Bend your knees into your check and extend one leg straight up toward the ceiling. Bend it in a pedaling motion and extend the other as if your were riding a bike.

      While watching your favorite television show, instead of fast forwarding through the commercials, get on the floor and do a few curl-ups during each break. Lie on your back, inhale, and as you exhale slowly curl your head and shoulders upward, sliding your hands up your thighs toward your knees. Pause, inhale and while exhaling slowing curl down to the resting position.
