How to Get Alpha or Beta Fat Receptors Losing Fat
Everyone has two types of fat cells, those with alpha fat receptors and those with beta fat receptors. Alpha fat receptors decrease fat burning and reduce the amount of blood flow through the fat cells, and beta fat receptors increase fat burning and increase the amount of blood flow through the fat cells. Unfortunately, the number of alpha and beta fat receptors is genetically predetermined, so if you were born with a larger number of alpha fat receptors, as opposed to a smaller number of beta fat receptors, this could mean that your body will store fat and hang onto fat longer. The trick is triggering your beta fat receptors to work to burn fat and increase blood flow and get your alpha fat receptors to slow down.Instructions

1
Eat a healthy diet that includes lots of fruits, vegetables and lean proteins. While you don't want to rule out carbohydrates completely, because your body needs them for fuel, cut out bad carbs like white bread, for example, and stick to eating good carbs such as fruits and vegetables and products made with whole grains.

Eat six smaller meals each day instead of three large ones. When you eat six smaller meals, your energy remains balanced and you are less likely to overeat. This in turn helps to burn fat and create lean muscle by turning up the beta fat receptors and turning down the alpha fat receptors.

Exercise five times a week for at least 30 minutes. This is so your body can begin to start burning that stored fat. Make sure you have some fuel in your system before exercising, otherwise you could begin burning muscle tissue instead of fat.

Drink lots of water. This will help to flush out toxins such as those found in some plastics that can leak into our foods and water that are stored in them. For example, some plastics are toxic and have estrogenic chemicals in them. The hormone estrogen can actually contribute to weight problems.
