Fastest Way to Lose Weight in a Few Days

Water Fasting
-
If you're on the lookout for an extreme diet that results in dramatic weight loss; you've found it. Fasting dates back thousands of years: Jesus, Moses, Plato, Socrates and Gandhi all claimed to be avid followers of water fasting as a method of spiritual renewal. While water fasting may provide spiritual renewal, it also serves as a method of detoxification and often results in dramatic weight loss. According to Dr. Ben Kim of Drbenkim.com, "On average, a typical faster loses approximately one pound per day during a water-only fast." He adds, "Initially, the loss may approach two or even three pounds per day for the first few days if the person is retaining significant sodium and water." The duration of a water fast can range from three to 30 days. Because water fasting is such an extreme weight loss method, it is highly recommended that you consult a medical professional before beginning a fast.
Raw Food Diet
-
This diet is an effective alternative to a juice or water fast. Consuming nothing but raw foods is a sure way to rapid weight loss. By eliminating processed and cooked foods from your diet, you eliminate the preservatives, excessive fat and calories that are paired with the two. A raw food diet acts as a detoxifying diet by ridding your body of harmful toxins. In order to stick to this diet, you will need strong dedication and a creative mind in the kitchen. If you serve yourself a simple salad three times per day, you will eventually fall off the wagon. To break up the monotony, try making some raw food "pasta" with zucchini. All you need is a food processor and a vegetable peeler. (See Resource section for recipe).
Fad Diets
-
Fad diets are frowned upon by medical professionals because these absurd diets typically don't lead to sustained weight loss. While fad diets are not recommended by doctors, they do get the job done when you have to lose about 10 pounds in two weeks. Please be advised, fad diets do not provide a balanced diet, therefore you may feel weak and hungry for the majority of the diet's duration. There are possibly more than 100 fad diets. All have been touted to provide significant weight loss, but don't believe everything you hear. Popular fad diets that have been mentioned in the media in recent years are the Cabbage Soup diet, the Master Cleanse and the 3 Hour Diet. Carry out your own thorough research before committing to any fad diet plan.
