Eat meals half an hour prior to taking Diurex. After a meal, take one capsule of Diurex and drink at least one 8 oz. glass of water after taking the pilll. Drinking green tea will increase the effectiveness of Diurex through the addition of caffeine.

Take another dose of Diurex every six to eight hours to lose water weight. Be sure not to take more than four capsules daily. Eliminate carbohydrates such as bread, pasta, potatoes and processed foods. These may help you retain water, which will decrease the effects of Diurex.

Drink at least 64 oz. of water every day while taking Diurex capsules to encourage urination. Eat foods that contain high protein to discourage water retention such as fish, eggs, green vegetables and lean meats.

Begin taking Diurex three to six days before your menstrual cycle in order to discourage bloating and contribute to weight loss.
