Insert the hand in a wrap. Start by putting your thumb through the loop to aid in holding the strap tight while you wrap.

    • 2

Wrap the wrist. Using the other hand wrap the strap around the low part of the wrist and continue wrapping, but not too tight yet. Once the strap is wrapped all around, unloop it once or twice and pull it very tight while you wrap it back up this time, using up every bit of slack.

Finish the wrap. Pull your thumb out of the loop and you are ready to lift.

Vary the wrap. A variation of this wrap can be made to provide comfort to an aching forearm. Start wrapping low at the wrist as usual but then move up the forearm as you loop, then move back down so that you finish back at the wrist.
