Keep water close by no matter where you are. If you are at home watching television or on the computer, keep a cool glass within reach. If you are running errands, keep a bottle or travel mug full of water in the cup holder.

Fill it back up! Every time you finish a glass or bottle of water, get a refill immediately. This way you will always have a cool fresh drink right at your fingertips.

Sip it down. If you drink your water with a straw, you will be more likely to mindlessly sip it down much more quickly and easily.

Keep track. If you use a refillable water bottle, wrap a rubber band around it every time you fill it up. This way you can keep track of how many ounces of water you are drinking each day.

Add a bit of flavor. A wedge of lemon, a few slices of cucumber, or a splash of juice can give your water the flavor boost you need to chug those ounces down.
