How to Lose Weight in a Sauna

Find a sauna that you can use daily. Typically, the best places to use a sauna are at a gym or spa facility.

Start by going to the sauna twice a week. Your sessions should last no more than half an hour.

Set the sauna temperature to 150 degrees F. If you can withstand increased temperatures, you can set it even higher.

Increase the number of days during the week that you go to the sauna. Try to alternate by going every other day for the same 20 to 30 minute session.

Drink lots of water. If you are using a sauna to lose weight, you can become dehydrated very easily. Remember to drink plenty of water before and after your session.
