Expect to follow a mostly liquid diet. Drink a berry drink twice a day, vegetable shake for lunch and broth for dinner. You also drink herbal teas and water over the course of the day.

Invest in a juicer. You need to have a juicer in order to make many of the drinks that are recommended on the diet.

Take numerous supplements each day. You are required to take an herbal cleansing formula, enzyme capsules and an aloe vera supplement each day. The recipes for the herbal cleansing formula are provided in the Martha Vineyard's Diet book.

Exercise each day. Expect to walk a mile a day on the Martha's Vineyard Diet, or bounce on a trampoline for at least 20 minutes, to meet your exercise requirements.
