TrimSpa Products

TrimSpa products are weight loss and appetite control supplements marketed by Goen Technologies. The label claims on these products have not been evaluated by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA). Advertisements for TrimSpa X32 Original Formula featured the late model and actress Anna Nicole Smith, who was outspoken about her efforts to maintain a healthy weight. In 2004, the FDA banned the sale of supplements containing ephedra, including TrimSpa X32 Original Formula. As a result, ephedra-free TrimSpa products appeared on the market. The official TrimSpa website now informs consumers that only one product, Advanced TrimSpa X32 Rapid Release, is currently manufactured and sold under the TrimSpa brand name. Any other TrimSpa products available online are either counterfeit or discontinued.
  1. Advanced TrimSpa X32 Rapid Release

    • According to the makers of TrimSpa, Advanced TrimSpa X32 Rapid Release absorbs 3.6 times faster than the original formula. The key ingredients include glucomannan, a water-soluble dietary fiber that reportedly suppresses hunger by helping you feel satisfied. Other ingredients, such as chromium and hoodia gordonii, may reduce cravings and decrease appetite. Advanced TrimSpa X32 Rapid Release is marketed as an effective weight loss supplement, intended for use along with diet and exercise.

    TrimSpa X32 EF

    • TrimSpa X32 EF was introduced after the FDA ban of ephedra-containing supplements in 2004. "EF" stands for ephedra-free. Otherwise similar to the original product, TrimSpa X32 EF was advertised as an aid to metabolize fat, increase lean muscle mass and decrease appetite. This product is now discontinued.

    TrimSpa Ultra

    • TrimSpa Ultra was designed for especially for women as a product to help combat hunger, burn fat and stabilize blood sugar levels. This formula contained green tea and a concentrated grapefruit extract, which reportedly encouraged weight loss without harmful stimulants. This product is no longer manufactured.

    TrimSpa X32 Original Formula

    • The original TrimSpa product, advertised as a "body-shaping formula", first appeared on the market in 2000. Its effectiveness as a weight loss supplement was largely credited to a combination of "high potency thermogenic agents", including the ephedra-containing Chinese herb Ma Huang. Despite its popularity and a successful advertising campaign, TrimSpa X32 Original Formula was discontinued in 2004 as a consequence of the FDA ban on supplements containing ephedra.
