How to Save My Weight Watcher Points on My Home Page

Weight Watchers online is a great tool for looking up recipes, reading relevant articles and recording your daily point intake. There are a number of ways to add points to your tracker. You have the option to enter them manually if you already know how many points something was worth. You can also look up a food to see an average points value. Finally, if you know the exact nutritional information of an item, you can enter this for a calculated points value. These options make it easy to input and save the points that you consume daily.

Instructions

      Log in to your account. You will be taken to your homepage. On the middle, lefthand side of the screen you will see a series of buttons. Right above them is the date as well as your remaining daily and weekly points.

      Click on the button titled "Points Tracker." A new window will pop up that will display your daily food journal, which is divided into sections for each mealtime.

      Scroll to the bottom of the screen until you see the "Quick-add" function. Enter the number of points for each food that you consumed. Select the appropriate time of day from the drop-down menu and click "Add."

      Scroll to the top of the screen. On the lefthand side is a "Save" button. Click this once and exit the food log window.

      Refresh your Weight Watchers homepage and look at your remaining daily and weekly points. These should reflect the changes you just made.

    Looking Up Foods

      Log in to your account. You will be taken to your homepage. On the middle, lefthand side of the screen you will see a series of buttons. Right above them is the date as well as your remaining daily and weekly points.

      Find the mealtime that you want to add a food to. Click on the "Add food" link. A small screen will pop up and you will be able to type in the food you consume. Click the "Go" button.

      Scroll through the search results until you find the one that is the closest match. Click on it. A small screen will pop up asking you to enter the date, mealtime and quantity of the food you consumed. Once you have entered this information click on the "Add to Tracker" button.

      Scroll to the top of the screen. On the lefthand side is a "Save" button. Click this once and exit the food log window.

      Refresh your Weight Watchers homepage and look at your remaining daily and weekly points. These should reflect the changes you just made.

    Nutritional Information Points Calculation

      Log in to your account. You will be taken to your homepage. On the middle, lefthand side of the screen you should see a series of buttons. Right above them is the date as well as your remaining daily and weekly points.

      Click on the button titled "Points Tracker." A new window will pop up that will display your daily food journal, which is divided into sections for each mealtime. To the left of this is a feature where you can enter nutritional information. You will need to know fat, carbohydrates, protein and fiber.

      Enter each of the required nutritional values and hit the "Calculate" button. The points value will appear along with a button giving you the option to "Add to Tracker."

      Click the "Add to Tracker?" button. A small screen will pop up asking you to create a new food. Enter the food name and any additional notes. Click the "Create Food" button. A new screen will appear so that you can add the food to your tracker.

      Enter the date, meal and amount of food that you consumed. Hit the "Add to Tracker" button.

      Scroll to the top of the screen. On the lefthand side is a "Save" button. Click this once and exit the food log window.

      Refresh your Weight Watchers homepage and look at your remaining daily and weekly points. These should reflect the changes you just made.
