How to Make an Infant Hooded Towel
A hooded towel is a useful and cute item for your baby at bath time. The hood covers your baby's head, and the towel wraps her up to keep her warm and toasty. While you can purchase hooded bath towels, making one is a simple project. All you need is a hand towel and bath towel of your choice of color and design, some basic sewing equipment and a little time. Properly made, your baby's bath towel will last well into the toddler years.Things You'll Need

1
Fold the hand towel in half along its width. Cut the towel in half across its width with the scissors.
-
2
Fold one half of the hand towel to double over the cut edge. Stitch the cut edge of the towel together. Turn the stitching inside out. This forms the hood of the towel.
-
3
Align the finished edge of the hand towel that is opposite the cut edge to the center of the long edge of the bath towel. Overlap the edges and pin the towels together with straight pins to hold them in place.
-

Stitch the two towels together. Remove the pins to finish the hooded towel.
