Bumbo Safety
-
Elevated Surface
-
Bumbos should never be used on an elevated surface. Infants can arch their backs and cause the seat to fall over.
Bath Seats
-
Bath seating is not the intended use of a Bumbo, as soapy water can cause an infant to slip out of the seat.
Supervision
-
Always supervise your baby while in a Bumbo. The seat is not completely restricted and your child could fall out with a vigorous-enough movement.
Carrying
-
Children should be removed from the Bumbo seat before you carry it to another location so the child does not accidentally fall out.
Capacity
-
Bumbos were designed to hold one infant at a time. Do not put two infants in one Bumbo. This could cause the Bumbo to tip.
