How to Treat Baby Acne
Baby acne is a common condition in newborn babies. In fact, acne affects one in three babies within the first few months of their lives. Usually appearing on babies' cheeks, these whiteheads surrounded by red skin also can appear on their chin, forehead and backs. Baby acne is harmless and usually clears up within several weeks.Things You'll Need

1
Identify the rash on your baby's face as acne, rather than other common skin conditions. Baby acne appears on a newborn's face as reddish skin covered with small whiteheads.
-
2
Wash your baby's face gently with a mild baby friendly cleanser once a day. If you wash more often, it could irritate the acne and make it worse.
-
3
Pat your baby's face dry to remove excess cleanser and grease.
-
4
Wipe grease from your baby's face occasionally during the day with a plain, dry tissue.
