How to Burp Your Baby
Steps on How to Burp Your Baby:
1. Sit upright and support your baby's head. Hold your baby upright against your chest with their chest and head resting on your shoulder. Use one hand to support your baby's chin and the other to gently rub their back.
2. Gently rub or pat your baby's back. Start at the base of the spine and work your way up to the shoulder blades. Use a gentle, circular motion.
3. Continue rubbing or patting until your baby burps. It may take a few minutes for your baby to burp. If your baby doesn't burp, you can try changing positions or walking around.
4. Change positions if needed. If your baby is having difficulty burping, you can try different positions. One option is to sit on a bed or couch and lay your baby on your lap with their head lower than their feet. Another option is to stand up and hold your baby over your shoulder.
5. Try walking around. Sometimes, walking around can help to dislodge a burp. If you're able to do so, take a walk around the house with your baby in a comfortable position.
6. Be patient. Burping your baby can take a little time and practice. Don't get discouraged if your baby doesn't burp right away. Just keep trying different techniques until you find one that works for your baby.
