Why babies inhale amniotic fluid?
Babies typically do not inhale amniotic fluid. If a baby inhales amniotic fluid during labor, it can lead to a temporary and often harmless condition called transient tachypnea of the newborn (TTN). This means the baby breathes faster than normal right after birth. With proper medical care, TTN usually resolves on its own within a few days.Babies Health - Related Articles
