Programs in Missouri for ADHD
If your child has been diagnosed with attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), you may struggle with a variety of emotions: sadness, shame, fear, confusion or anger---and likely all of them at the same time. Information and treatment options can seem overwhelming. It's a growing concern; a 2006 report by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) found that 7 percent of children ages three to 17---4.5 million children---had received an ADHD diagnosis. Fortunately for Missouri parents, the state has a number of ADHD programs they can turn to.-
