Summer Fitness Camps for Kids
Several summer camps around the country focus on the general health and fitness of children. These camps encourage children to become physically active. Children who participate in these camps have the opportunities to learn the basics of nutrition and exercise while losing weight and becoming healthier.-

Wellspring Camps
-
Wellspring Camps offer summer fitness camps. They pride themselves on not being a "fat-camp." Rather than focusing on temporary weight loss, these camps aim to teach children to be healthy for life with diet and fitness plans. Wellspring offers camps to children between the ages of 5 to 18 in states such as New York, North Carolina, California and Hawaii. Each camp location targets specific age and gender groups. During the sessions, which last from one to ten weeks, a personal coach assists each camper in accomplishing fitness goals.
